Beats & Rhymes is a music licensing company specializing in hip hop and related urban music styles to meet the needs of music supervisors for film, television and video games. Since its inception in 2004, Beats & Rhymes has placed hip hop music in such shows as NBC’s Saturday Night Live, ABC’s Dancing With The Stars, A&E’s Dog The Bounty Hunter, MTV’s The Real World, the trailer to the movie Stomp The Yard and others.

Far too often when music supervisors or editors search for hip hop from a music library source, they find poor quality, outdated tracks. We specialize in staying on top of trends and working with successful hip hop producers to bring our clients the most current and authentic hip hop music available. We are the sole administrator of our catalog making licensing speedy and simple for all of our clients.

Beats & Rhymes also creates custom scores, soundtracks and jingles for any hip hop music production need. We have a full time in house scratch DJ and in house producers/composers and vocalists that can design and record tracks to meet your specific needs. The Beats & Rhymes catalog consists of 8 CDs as well as several exclusive tracks available upon request.
